“A positive bond in favor of Iran.” Some analysts described Iran's unprecedented attack on the Israeli interior after Tehran fired more than 300 missiles and drones at Israel, according to the Israeli military.

The Iranian military announced that it had “hit all its targets in a drone and missile attack on Israel in response to the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.”

Tehran responded strongly to an air strike targeting its embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus two weeks ago, which led to the deaths of 13 people, including seven members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and six Syrian civilians.

Ali Nurizadeh, an Iran analyst and director of the Center for Iranian-Arab Studies in London, believes the attack did not achieve any gains on the Iranian street. The Iranian regime did not destroy any targets in Israel, prompting derision on the Iranian street. He said that if Tehran had continued psychological warfare, it would have gained more.
