This is an industry-based self regulating body that takes complaints about the content of newspapers, magazines and news reporting on the websites of Council members.

Complaints must be specific, and made in writing with evidence, within 3 months of publication. You can use the Council's complaint form.
 
The Council will not hear a complaint that is subject to legal action, or possible legal action, unless you are willing to sign a right of waiver first. It is advisable for you to take further advice
before signing it.
